Stepping out of my comfort zone, here’s a card I created using only Patterned Papers. I used the Candy Cane Lane Paper Pad by Prima Marketing to create not just my background, but also my focal point and christmas sentiment.

I chose some little bits and pieces of these gorgeous papers to create this card. I started by using 2 stips of the paper to create my card front. Since the colors are very subtle, so I decided to add some sparkle by adding a little strip of gold cardstock between the patterned paper strips to create a seamless card front.

For my sentiment, I again chose a piece of the patterned paper which had the little christmas sentiment and stuck it on the card front using foam tape for some dimension.

My christmas card cannot be complete without adding some bling. I used the Gold Hologram Sequin mix by This Calls For Confetti to add some shine and sparkle to this simple card design.
