Hello crafty friends,
Today I will be creating a quick and easy card for your loved ones this valentine’s using beautiful patterned paper and die cut ephemera by Kat Scrappiness.
Here’s a look at the card I created –

I wanted to create a framed look for my card front. Since I was looking for a quick and simple design, I decided to use patterned papers for my background. I used the gorgeous pink heart paper from the Quokka Love Paper Pad. I used the Label Frames Crafts Die to create my frame.
For the focal point, I used this cute quokka couple from the Cowboy Quokka Die Cut Ephemera Set. I wanted some kind of grounding for the focal point. So I cut a hill from the Cowboy Quokka Paper Pad using the A2 Stitched Hills Die and then to make it part of the frame, I cut it using the Label Frames Crafts Die too.

I stuck all these pieces together to create a beautiful hillside scene.
For my sentiment, I stamped the “You are my Forever & Always” sentiment from the Quokka Love Stamp Set. I absolutely love the font on this sentiment.

To finish my background, I wanted a very rugged rustic look, which would match the cowboy theme and also not over power the pretty pink heart background. I used a brown patterned paper from the Cowboy Quokka Stamp Set which I though matched perfectly with all the elements on the card front.
I then adhered the card front onto an A2 size card base. I love how this card turned out. It was so easy to create. I love that Kat Scrappiness has a beautiful collection of fun Die Cut Ephemera, to help me create some absolutely gorgeous last minute cards.
