Hello crafty friends,
Today I have a very clean and simple card project for you guys, using scrap pieces of cardstocks to create a beautiful focal point.

I used a beautiful gray cardstock and stamped the large floral image from the Alluring Flowers Stamp Set by Altenew using the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink in the shade Flannel for a tone on tone look.
To add some color to this simple card front, I used some 1/4 inch strips of cardstocks in the pink and purple shades. These papers are from the Your Paper Insider Subscription Box. I created a striped pattern towards the bottom of the card panel. I added some gold strips on either sides for some added shine.

For my floral focal point, I used the same set of pink and purple shades of cardstock from Your Paper Insider and die cut the floral arrangement from the Pond Flower Die Set by Altenew. I added slight shading to these flowers using the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the shade Rose, Violet and Field.
I wanted a very simple sentiment for this simple card. I stamped the “Thinking of You” sentiment from the Dainty Flowers Stamp Set. I also added little Metallic Tones Pawsitively Dazzling Gems on the center of the 2 flowers.

I love how this card turned out. This project is part of the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #609 . This is a color challenge, where you create a project using Magenta, Purple and Pink Colors. It could be cards, tags or mixed media projects. Let your creative wheel churn and tag us at #cupcakeinspirationchallenge
