Hello crafty friends,

I finally got to play with some beautiful butterflies by Waffle Flowers. I used the Butterfly Blossom Dies to create my focal point butterflies.

I cut these butterflies using some hot pink cardstock by Your Paper Insider. For the centers of the butterflies I used some fun glitter cardstock, again by YPI.

I wanted a base for my focal point die cut pieces. I initially decided to create a window, but later changed my mind and created an ink blended center instead.

I used one of the new Basic Shapes Circle Dies from the latest Favorite Things Release by Simon Says Stamp to cut out a circle mask and then using some beautiful shades of greens from the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink Collection (Pearfection, Limelicious, Celery and Field) I created a beautiful base to ground my butterflies.

Before I took out the mask, I sprayed this ink blended circle using some Silver Shimmer Spray. I then took out the mask and added some Black watercolor splatters for some added interest to our card front.

While that was drying, I decided to add some color on my butterfly. I used Rose and Cherry Pawsitively Saturated Inks to intensify the wings on my butterflies.

I finished the card by adding a gold heat embossed Thanks sentiment by Lawn Fawn.

I love how beautiful this card turned out. The Butterfly Blossom Die Set also has some flowers, which I plan on using in my next project. Stay tuned for that!!
