Hello crafty friends,

We all need a moment to unwind, and for many of us, that moment often comes with a warm cup of coffee in hand. Whether it’s the comforting aroma or the boost of energy, a coffee break is the perfect excuse to take a pause and relax. After all, as the saying goes, coffee is like a hug in a mug. As a way to celebrate that cozy ritual, I created a clean and simple card that would be the ideal gift for any coffee lover. It’s the perfect way to share the love of coffee and remind someone to take a well-deserved break!

That being said, welcome to challenge #614 of the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. This is a biweekly challenge where we have some fun themes to play with and lots of project inspirations.

Let’s take a close look at the card that I created for this challenge.

I stamped this cute and adorable little quokka with his coffee mug from the Coffee Quokka Stamp Set by Kat Scrappiness. I colored the image using my Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Markers and die cut it using the the coordinating dies.

For my background, I decided to add some coffee mug stains, which I thought would be perfect with the theme of our project today. I used the KS Coffee Splatter Stencil with the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink in the shade Latte.

I used a fun pattern paper from the Ks Cuppa Love Paper Pad to ground my focal point image. I added some shine and sparkle to the little quokka and his mug using the Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush Pen and a few highlights using a white gel pen.

I love how this card turned out.
