Hey crafty friends!

I’m excited to share a bright and cheerful card with you today. It features a clean and simple stenciled background, paired with a crisp stamped sentiment. I used a fun rainbow color palette and added lots of sparkle with Shimmer Mist—because who doesn’t love a little shine? This single-layer design is not only eye-catching but also super easy to recreate or mass-produce in a variety of color combos.

Here’s a closer look at our card –

For today’s card, I started with one of my favorite stencils — the Leaf Burst stencil. It’s such a versatile design that works beautifully with a variety of mediums, whether you’re using inks, watercolors, or adding texture and shine with pastes.

For this project, I went with a soft and vibrant ink-blended background, using a fun rainbow palette. I reached for the Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks in the shades Sweets, Blush, Citrine, Pearfection, Ocean, and Violet. These colors blend so seamlessly and bring a joyful burst of color to the card.

Before applying the stencil, I gave the background a good spritz of silver shimmer mist spray—because a little sparkle never hurts, right? It adds a subtle but gorgeous shine that catches the light just perfectly.

To finish the card, I stamped the bold “Sending Hugs” sentiment from the Alluring Orchids Stamp Set by Altenew using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The crisp black sentiment really pops against the colorful background and ties everything together beautifully.

I absolutely love how this card turned out. It’s bright, happy, and full of good vibes! Plus, the single-layer design makes it super easy to mass produce—whether you stick with the rainbow theme or mix it up with other color combos. These would make a wonderful gift set or be perfect to have on hand for any occasion.
