I recently captured a sweet and simple moment between two little girls, a visual story of their beautiful friendship. Through smiles and quiet comfort, they stand by each other—not just in the happy, carefree times, but also during the more tender, tear-filled ones. This piece is a gentle reminder of the strength and sincerity found in childhood bonds.

This card was created for Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #616, a fun bi-weekly challenge that brings inspiring themes to spark your creativity. Let’s take a close look at the card that I created for this challenge.

To begin this project, I printed out a lovely image from the digital stamp generously provided by our sponsors for this challenge—All Dressed Up. This charming illustration became the focal point of my card, and I paired it with a coordinating digital sentiment to tie everything together.

I brought the image to life using my Spectrum Noir TriBlend markers, carefully blending the colors to add warmth and depth. To complete the design, I stamped a simple yet meaningful sentiment that reads “…friend,” perfectly capturing the essence of this heartfelt card.

I’m so happy with how both of these cards came together! The design is super versatile—you can easily personalize it with your favorite color palette and use it for all sorts of friendship-themed occasions. I hope this inspires you to get creative and make a few sets of your own.
