I’m thrilled to introduce the delightful Up and Away release from Catherine Pooler in collaboration with Sizzix! This exciting collection is packed with playful stamps, coordinating dies, dreamy stencils, and a stunning embossing folder. From charming floral hot air balloons to whimsical kites, these new products are perfect for crafting vintage-inspired skies and letting your creativity soar to new heights.

Here’s a look at some of the cards that I created using supplies from this new release –

Let’s kick things off with this bright and cheerful card! I used the Birthday Bunting Die to create a fun banner as the focal point. The sentiment comes from the Happy Everything Sentiment Stamps, adding just the right touch. For the soft, dreamy background, I blended with the In the Clouds Stencils. To finish off this sweet and simple design, I added a few heart accents using dies from the Floating Fancy Die set.

For this card, I used the Sky’s the Limit Die Set to create the large cloud as my main focal point. I repurposed the leftover alphabet pieces from my previous card to spell out “Happy,” giving it a fun and resourceful twist. The sentiment, stamped from the Happy Everything Sentiment Stamps, adds the perfect finishing touch. To complete the look, I blended a soft, dreamy background using the In the Clouds Stencils.

Once again, I used the Sky’s the Limit Die to create the central focal point, but this time I paired it with the Sky’s the Limit Stamp Set to add the kite string and the sentiments framing each side of the cloud. To bring it all together, I blended a soft and dreamy background using the In the Clouds Stencils for that perfect sky-kissed finish.

For this card, I kept things simple with a single-layer design using just the Sky’s the Limit set. I played with a mix of fun greens and teals on both the focal point and the background, and I have to say—I’m absolutely loving how it all came together!

Here’s another sweet and simple single-layer card, featuring the charming heart-shaped hot air balloon from the Up and Away Stamp Set. I paired it with a mix of coordinating sentiments from the Happy Everything Sentiment Stamps to tie it all together beautifully.

I think this one might just be my favorite out of all the cards I created today! I love the dimension and the gorgeous die-cut layers on the card front. I started with the large hot air balloon from the Floating Fancy Dies and paired it with the banner die from the Up and Away Die Set. The “Happy Birthday” sentiment comes from the Up and Away Stamp Set. For the background, I used all four layers of the In the Clouds Stencil to create that bold, dramatic sky effect.

Much like the previous card, this one also features a hot air balloon as the focal point. However, this time I used the Up and Away Stamp Set along with its coordinating dies to bring the design to life.

Stepping away from the soft sky-themed projects, here’s a card that brings all the drama! I went with one of my favorite color combos—pinks and oranges—and just look at how striking that background turned out. I used the 3D Posh Patterns Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and I absolutely love the rich texture it created. A few gold highlights added that perfect touch of glam, and I finished it off with a birthday sentiment from the Happy Everything Sentiment Stamp Set.

That wraps up the fun cards I created using the products from the new release! I have plenty more projects to share with you soon. What I love most about this release is how versatile these products are—they’re perfect for a wide range of occasions throughout the year. They’re definitely a must-have for your crafty stash!
