Hello crafty friends,
Welcome to Day 2 of the Friend Like You Release Hop. This new release is packed with so many fun products : stamps, dies, embellishments and lots more.
Before we take a look at the cute and adorable cards I created for the hop today, I wanted to share something fun. Here’s a chance to win the SSS exclusive and not-yet-released YOU 2 Stamp Set which will get automatically added to your cart that contains any purchase of our Friend Like You exclusive products. This offer is valid until 6/29 at 11:59 ET or while supplies last.

Now let’s take a look at the cards I created for the Friend Like You Release Hop! Out of all the amazing new products in this release, I was especially drawn to the Wildflower Cuttings Stamp Set. I used it to design four clean, simple, and elegant cards that highlight the delicate floral illustrations and the beautiful, heartfelt sentiments included in the set. I kept the design clean and understated, allowing the simple layout and subtle details to shine while adding just a touch of color for visual interest.

Card #1

I began by stamping the sentiment using SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink in the shade Ocean. Next, I built up the design by stamping the delicate floral image around the sentiment to frame it beautifully. To finish, I added a few Prism Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for a hint of sparkle and elegance.
Card #2

This design follows a similar layout to the previous card, but with a few changes. I stamped the sentiment in black for a bold contrast and used the Pearfection shade to repeatedly stamp the leaves around it, creating a soft and elegant background.
Card #3

Continuing the theme of repeat stamping for the background, I stamped the small floral image onto a Heather cardstock panel using Amethyst ink. Then, I stamped the larger, more delicate floral image onto a white cardstock strip and added the sentiment just below it. To create some visual contrast, I layered the white strip over black cardstock and finished the card with a few Prism Pawsitively Dazzling Gems for a touch of sparkle.
Card #4

For this card, I wanted to incorporate one of my favorite color combinations—orange and pink. I used Cantaloupe, Sherbet, and Sweets inks to blend inside a masked circle, creating a soft, vibrant base for the focal image and sentiment. Before removing the mask and stamping, I added a light spray of shimmer mist for a subtle sparkle. Then, I stamped the sentiment and floral images, making sure they slightly overlapped the colored area to tie everything together.
