Ahoy, friends!
I’m thrilled to share a super adorable pirate-themed project today featuring the brand-new Ahoy, Matey Stamp Set from the Friend Like You release by Simon Says Stamp. This playful set is packed with pirate charm—complete with adventurous kiddos, sea creatures, treasure, and punny sentiments that are perfect for birthday cards, fun greetings, and whimsical scenes. Whether you’re crafting for little explorers or adding a splash of adventure to your projects, this set is sure to inspire some high-seas creativity!
Here’s a very clean and simple project I created using this stamp set.

I started by stamping this adorable little pirate girl striking a jaunty pose on the prow of a ship. I stamped the image onto an A2 size white cardstock panel. Along with the focal point image, I also stamped the sentiment diagonally opposite little pirate. I used my alcohol markers – Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Markers and Ohuhu Markers – to color in the image.

I then added some white highlights on the image and also some faux watercolor splatters on the background using my white gel pen.

I then stuck this panel onto a bright blue card base.
And that wraps up today’s pirate adventure! I had so much fun creating this playful pirate-themed card using the Ahoy, Matey Stamp Set. The charming characters and punny sentiments make it perfect for crafting cheerful, imaginative designs. I hope this project inspires you to dive into your stash and create something fun and whimsical.
