Hello crafty friends! Today, I’m switching things up with a fun project that’s not a card—but just as creative! I’ve been experimenting with ways to turn stamped panels into framed decor, and the Delicate Blossoms stamp set from the new Happy Camper release by Simon Says Stamp was the perfect fit.

This beautiful 6″ x 6″ floral stamp is full of gorgeous detail and is perfect for heat embossing and watercoloring. I started by stamping and heat embossing the image in gold on watercolor paper. Embossing adds raised lines that help keep the paint contained—making the coloring process more relaxed and enjoyable.
For this piece, I chose a vibrant palette of pinks and oranges for the flowers (my personal favorites!), and used a mix of soft greens for the leaves. The watercolors I used were a generous gift from my talented friend Cindy from CRN Cards. I’ll be linking her profile and the colors I used in the description for anyone interested in checking them out.
Once the panel was fully dry, I placed it in a simple frame from my local dollar store—and just like that, I had a handmade piece of floral art ready to display!
