Pretty Floral Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends,
I’m excited to share a floral birthday card I created using the Lilac Haze Flower Digi Stamp. If you’re someone who loves convenience and versatility in digital stamps, this bundle is a treat—it comes with a black-and-white outline, a pre-colored version, coordinating patterned papers, and sentiments that make cardmaking a breeze.

This project combines soft coloring, vibrant ink blending, and a simple design layout that lets the florals take center stage. Let’s dive into the process!

I started by printing the black-and-white version of the Lilac Haze Flower onto smooth white cardstock. To save time and get a precise cut, I used my Brother Scan n Cut machine—one of my favorite tools for working with digi stamps!

Using my Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend Markers, I added soft yet vibrant shades to the flowers and leaves. These markers make it easy to create smooth blends, and I love how the layers of color brought the petals to life.

Before adhering the floral image, I ink blended a soft orange shade directly onto my card panel. I chose this color because it matched beautifully with the tones in the floral cluster, adding warmth and subtle contrast without overpowering the focal point.

For the sentiment, I picked a simple birthday greeting from the Winnie Daisy Everyday Greetings digi set. I love how well this set pairs with many different styles of images, and it fit perfectly with the clean, uplifting feel of the card.

Once everything was ready, I adhered the floral image over the ink-blended background using foam tape for a bit of dimension. The sentiment was added above the focal point image, keeping the layout simple and letting the image shine.

And that’s my card for today! This was such a relaxing and satisfying project—from coloring the beautiful florals to watching the background and sentiment come together. I love how digital elements like these can speed up the process while still leaving room for plenty of creative expression.
