Hello crafty friends,
If you love creating adorable, coordinated cards without spending hours picking papers and colors, card bundles are such a lifesaver! They not only make it easy to design a complete project from start to finish but also offer tons of inspiration — especially when it comes to color palettes. Today, I’m sharing a fun and cheerful birthday card I made using the Birthday Mouse Bundle, and I can’t wait to show you how it came together!
The Birthday Mouse Bundle is such a charming set — it includes an adorable mouse image in both black-and-white and pre-colored versions, some lovely patterned papers, and a few playful sentiments that are perfect for birthday-themed projects.

For my card, I decided to go with the black-and-white digital stamp so I could add my own touch of color. I used my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers and took color inspiration from the pre-colored version that comes with the bundle. Having that reference made coloring so much easier and gave me a great opportunity to practice blending and shading.
Once my image was ready, I carefully fussy cut it using my Brother ScanNCut machine for clean, crisp edges. Next, I printed one of the beautiful patterned papers and my sentiment onto heavyweight cardstock to ensure a sturdy base.
To add more interest to the background, I used a postage-edge die to cut the patterned paper. This added a lovely decorative frame that really stood out against my soft pink card base. I then adhered my colored image to the center of the panel, placed the sentiment strip right below it, and finished everything off with a touch of sparkle — a few sequins scattered around for that perfect final touch!
I absolutely love how this card came together — it’s sweet, simple, and full of cheerful birthday vibes! 🐭🎂 The Birthday Mouse Bundle made it so easy to coordinate everything and even helped me improve my coloring skills thanks to the built-in color inspiration.
