Sweet & Simple Floral Thank You Card

I love creating cards that are quick, simple, and still make a beautiful statement—and for me, that usually means adding some florals! Today’s card features one of my favorite combinations: a soft background, a vibrant floral focal point, and a heartfelt sentiment. Using a few digital stamps and some watercoloring, I created a sweet Thank You card that came together effortlessly.

When it comes to crafting clean and elegant designs, I naturally gravitate toward floral elements. For this card, I used one of the pre-colored floral images from the Flowers and Foliage Digi Stamp Set. I printed the image onto watercolor paper and added subtle layers of watercolor to deepen the existing colors and bring the flower to life. Once it dried, I used my Brother ScanNCut to fussy cut the image with precision.

For the background, I went with something soft and delicate to let the floral shine—a very light orange patterned paper from the Alcea Hollyhock Flowers Bundle. To tie everything together, I added the Thank You sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Messages Digi Stamp directly onto the patterned background, positioning it exactly where the floral image would sit.

After printing the entire background with the sentiment onto 80lb white cardstock, I adhered my hand-painted floral using liquid glue. The dimension and color contrast between the floral and the background gave the card a sweet, airy look—perfect for any occasion where you want to express gratitude.

This card is a lovely reminder that you don’t need many supplies to make something heartfelt and beautiful. A touch of watercolor, a simple digital stamp, and a bit of thoughtful layering can go a long way.
