There’s something irresistibly cozy about a handmade holiday card, especially one that captures the quiet magic of winter. Today’s project features a beautiful tree-line scene set beneath a swirl of delicate snowflakes — a simple design that brings all the festive feels. With soft textures, subtle shimmer, and a touch of seasonal charm, this card is the perfect way to share a little warmth during the coldest months. Let’s dive in and take a closer look at how this sweet winter wonderland came together.

I began with an A2 white cardstock panel and created a beautifully textured background using the Stitched Swirling Snowflake Background Die. To bring the panel to life, I blended in a mix of fun blue shades from the SSS Pawsitively Saturated Ink collection—Cadette, Royal, Twilight, and Galaxy. These hues add that magical, frosty feel to the snowflake backdrop. For a touch of winter sparkle, I finished it off with a light mist of shimmer spray.

To build the tree-line scene, I used the Tree Line & Trees Dies, cutting them from white cardstock and adding color with my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. I also created a second hill layer with the A2 Stitched Hills Die to sit behind the trees. Using a combination of liquid glue and foam tape, I adhered everything onto the snowy background for added depth.

For the sentiment, I kept it sweet and simple by stamping “Happy Holidays” from the Reindeer Games Sentiment Stamp directly onto the snowbank.
