There’s something so comforting about winter-themed cards—especially those that capture the feeling of being cozy and bundled up while the cold lingers outside. For today’s project, I created a sweet winter scene that feels warm, thoughtful, and perfect for sharing a heartfelt message with someone special.

I began this card by working with the Helping Out the Birds digi stamp. After printing the image, I colored it using my Ohuhu alcohol markers, focusing on soft winter tones to enhance the cozy, cold-weather vibe of the scene.
Once the coloring was complete, I printed a sentiment alongside the image that reads, “You’re the person that makes me happy,” from the Spring Tons of Love Sentiment stamp set. Both the image and sentiment were then cut together using a scalloped frame die, creating a charming focal point with gentle edges.
For the background, I selected a beautiful, lightly textured pattern paper from the Lilac Haze Flowers Bundle. The subtle design adds interest without overpowering the focal image. To finish the card, I layered the scalloped frame over the patterned paper and added a black postage-style frame around the edges, giving the card a clean and polished final look.
This cozy winter card came together beautifully with its soft details, heartfelt sentiment, and layered framing. It’s a reminder that even on the coldest days, a handmade card can bring warmth, joy, and a little extra happiness to someone’s heart.
