A Sweet Floral Mother’s Day Card with Digital Images

Mother’s Day is a beautiful reminder to celebrate the unconditional love, strength, and endless sacrifices of the incredible women who shape our lives every single day. 💐

For today’s project, I created a soft and heartfelt Mother’s Day card inspired by my mom’s love for beautiful florals. There’s something so special about designing a card with a specific person in mind, and this one truly reflects her personality and favorite colors.

I used the Fantasy Moon Digi Stamp, choosing this particular image and color palette because it resonates so much with her. She absolutely adores delicate florals, especially in soft purples and lavender tones, so I leaned into that theme while coloring the image. The graceful florals in this design make it perfect for celebrating Mother’s Day in an elegant and feminine way.

I printed the digital stamp onto smooth white cardstock and colored it with coordinating shades to bring out the intricate floral details. One of the things I truly love about working with digital stamps is the flexibility — you can resize them to perfectly fit your card panel before printing, which makes designing so much easier.

To complete the focal panel, I added the “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment from the Mother’s Day Messages Digi Stamp set. The sentiment pairs beautifully with the main image and adds that finishing heartfelt touch.

For layering, I matted the finished panel onto a rich purple cardstock to tie everything together. To enhance the floral theme, I chose a stunning lavender patterned paper from the Lilac Haze Flowers Bundle Digi Paper Pad collection for the background. The soft floral patterns complement the focal image without overpowering it, creating a cohesive and elegant look.
