Eid is such a joyful celebration, and what better way to share that joy than with a handmade card! This year, I stepped out of my comfort zone to create a bold and sparkling Eid Mubarak card using the Altenew Eid Mubarak die, Diamond Stars 3D embossing folder, glitter cardstock from Your Paper Insider, navy blue 80 lb cardstock, and Stellar Sequins in rose gold.

I started by cutting my panel to 4 x 5¼ inches and embossing it with the Diamond Stars folder. A light spritz of water helped prevent cracking, and the textured pattern really pops, whether you use the embossed or debossed side. To add extra sparkle, I splattered a metallic watercolor that matched the glitter cardstock—it looks stunning against the dark navy background.

Next, I cut the Eid Mubarak sentiment from glitter cardstock, stacking two additional white layers underneath for stability. I adhered it with liquid glue, which allows for small adjustments to line up the intricate die perfectly. Once dry, I added foam tape to the back and mounted the panel on a top-folding A2 card base.

Finally, I added rose gold sequins in odd-numbered clusters for a subtle, elegant sparkle. And that’s it—a bold, elegant, and festive Eid card that’s perfect for sharing love and joy during the celebrations. All supplies are listed above, and for more inspiration using the same die, check out my 2-for-1 Eid Mubarak card tutorial.
