Before we take a look at the cute and adorable cards I created for the hop today, I wanted to share something fun. Let us now talk about the cards I created for the hop! The Favorite Things Release has so many fun products. I decided to use the Round Of Appaws Stamp Set and pair it with the absolutely sparkly Bubblegum Glitter Cardstock. If you are an animal lover, this stamp set is for you! It includes 3 little pups and 3 kitties along with a paw and a trophy, celebrating small and big victory’s in life.
I first stamped all of the images onto a piece of white cardstock using Memento Black Ink, since I planned to color these using my alcohol markers.
I used lighter tones of grays for the pups and golden yellows for my kitties. I colored these images using Spectrum Noir Glitter Pens. I then used my Brother Scan n Cut to cut out all of the images.
Let’s talk about the puppy card. I used the new Basic Shapes Circle Die in 3 different sizes to create a window for my puppies. I cut this panel to be 4 by 5.25″. I backed my window using the Bubblegum Pink Glitter Cardstock.
Before adhering the puppies, I stamped the sentiment, nestled between my windows. Then using some foam tape, I adhered all the 3 pups inside our window.
Moving onto our little kittens, I added a white panel at the base of the Bubblegum Glitter Cardstock which would help me ground our focal point and also provide a place where I can stamp my sentiment.
I used my white gel pen to add some highlights on all the fur babies.
I love how cute and adorable these cards turned out. This would be perfect for graduation, promotion or for someone who is celebrating life!
