Running short on time to make your Halloween cards? Here’s how I turned two vibrant ink-blended backgrounds into fun, interactive shaker cards that are slim, easy to mail, and perfect for mass production! Using the What Lies Within cover plate dies by This Calls for Confetti, I created two spooky haunted house scenes. One features a fiery blend of yellows, oranges, pinks, and deep purples, while the other takes inspiration from the Northern Lights with vibrant greens, blues, and purples.

The best part? You can easily recreate this design in multiples without bulky foam tape! I used clear card storage sleeves, double-sided tape, glitter, confetti, and tiny bats to create flat, edge-to-edge shaker pockets. After layering the delicate haunted house die cuts over the colorful backgrounds, I added extra sparkle with a glitter brush pen and finished each card with a spooky sentiment. This technique is a great way to create several interactive Halloween cards while keeping them lightweight and easy to mail.

Which background is your favorite—the fiery Halloween sky or the Northern Lights-inspired design? Let me know in the comments!
