Hello crafty friends,
Today I’m sharing a fun and beginner-friendly watercolor technique using Altenew’s Geometric Elements stamp set and the watercolor smush technique.

I stepped away from my usual floral designs and created a modern geometric background by heat embossing the images and adding layers of my favorite color combination—pink and orange.
Using Altenew’s 36 Pan Watercolor Set, I built up the colors one layer at a time, creating beautiful blends and depth. I love how this technique allows the colors to flow naturally while still giving you control over where you place the color.

To finish the card, I added black watercolor splatters, a simple white embossed sentiment, and a few Stellar Sequins for that perfect touch of sparkle.
This technique is so easy and perfect for beginners—you don’t need to be an expert at watercoloring to create beautiful results!
