Today I’m sharing a sweet, cheerful card featuring some adorable digital stamps and a fun shaped layout.
To create this card, I started by printing the sweet Gardening Lili Ladybug Ladybird digi stamp onto crisp white cardstock and cutting her out using my Brother ScanNCut. For the background, I wanted to keep the look soft and airy to let the main image pop, so I chose a subtle light blue pattern from the Spring into Easter digital paper pad.
Instead of sticking to a standard rectangular layout, I gave the card a unique shape by cutting the patterned paper with a petal leaf shaped die. I then adhered it to a card base that was cut just slightly larger, leaving a delicate white border around the entire edge for a clean, custom-framed finish.
To complete the scene, I added the “Enjoy the little things” sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Greetings digi stamp set. As a fun finishing detail, I couldn’t resist adding a few tiny bumblebees—which I cut from the Road Trip Car – Bee Buzzy Gnome digi stamp set—and fluttering them around the flower to bring everything together.
