There’s something extra fun about creating little treat boxes for Halloween, and today I’m sharing this adorable party favor box made with the Happy Feels Bundle by Catherine Pooler. This box is the perfect size for filling with candy, homemade goodies, or even a small gift card, making it a fun little gift for friends, family, or party guests.

I started with the Moonlit Manor patterned paper, a 6 x 6-inch pack featuring 24 sheets of 80-pound cardstock in eight fun designs. I loved the mix of traditional Halloween colors like orange and black with playful pops of pink. The pumpkins, ghosts, plaid patterns, moons, and stars make this collection perfect for creating a festive Halloween project with a whimsical twist.

For the box itself, I used the large box die and cut it twice from the patterned paper. The die includes etched score lines, which makes folding and assembling the box really easy. I used liquid glue to join the two pieces and then folded along all the score lines to create the box base. One tip I shared in the video is that if you’re making these in bulk to mail out, you can leave the bottom unsealed so the boxes can be mailed flat and assembled by the recipient.

Next, I stamped the images from the You’ve Been Booed stamp set using the beautiful Made Me Blush ink. Since I was using a brand-new stamp set, I conditioned the stamps first to help get a nice, even impression. The stamp set includes the adorable “No Tricks, Just Treats” focal image along with little candies, a pumpkin, a ghost, and a Happy Halloween sentiment, with coordinating dies to make cutting everything out quick and easy.
To finish the box, I added the Happy Halloween banner with a little jute twine and adhered the main sentiment along the top of the focal image. Finally, I filled the box with a small bag of M&Ms—and just like that, our Halloween party favor was complete!

I love how versatile this box design is. While it’s perfect for Halloween, you could easily create these for birthdays, Christmas parties, baby showers, or any other celebration. It’s a simple and thoughtful way to package a few sweet treats, and the small size makes it perfect for creating favors in multiples. 🎃🍬
