When I think of Halloween cards, I usually gravitate toward dark, spooky colors. But this time, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and create something completely different—a fun and playful Halloween card in pink and teal!

The inspiration for this card came from the gorgeous sprinkle mix from This Calls For Confetti. With its mix of pink, teal, black, and orange embellishments, it instantly inspired the color palette for my card.

I started with the Boojee Pumpkin Layering Stencil and Die Set. The six stencil layers make it easy to build beautiful dimension and detail on the pumpkin. I used several shades of pink and finished it with a touch of black to bring in that spooky Halloween feel.

For the background, I used the Wicked Webs dies to create a couple of teal spiderwebs. Instead of adhering the die-cut webs, I used one as a stencil, which gave me a soft and subtle background.

I finished the card with the adorable layered ghost and “BOO” sentiment from the Ghostly Greetings die set. A few pink sequins and little black bats from the sprinkle mix added just the right amount of sparkle.

I absolutely love how this unexpected color palette turned out. Sometimes, all it takes is a little inspiration to step outside your comfort zone and create something completely new!
