Get ready to kick off the new school year with a pop of color and a whole lot of encouragement! For today’s project, I wanted to create a bright, playful back-to-school card that’s sure to bring a smile to any student’s face. The star of the show is the adorable focal image from the Cute Girl With Stationery Pens Pencils – Graduation School Student set. I printed her onto heavyweight cardstock, precisely cut her out using my trusted Brother ScanNCut, and brought all those fun school supplies to life with rich, vivid shading using my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers.
To give the card an urban, playful backdrop, I layered the colorful brick pattern from the Rocket Card Little Dude Bundle, which perfectly grounds the little student and her stack of books. To finish it off, I scattered a series of uplifting sentiment strips from the Graduation School Students Sentiment Stamp set across the brick background—anchored by a bold blue “HOORAY!”—to remind the recipient that “and so the adventure continues” as they chase their dreams this school year!
