Hello crafting friends! Today I am sharing a playful, interactive card that is perfect for Father’s Day, featuring a clean layout with a touch of interactive fun. The front of the card features a sweet, vibrant scene that completely transforms when opened. I designed a clever surprise flap that lifts up, creating a wonderful interactive element that reveals a hidden holiday greeting for Dad.

To bring this whimsical scene to life, I started by printing the adorable Road Trip Car Bee Buzzy Gnome digi stamp. After fussy cutting the image, I colored the entire piece using my alcohol markers to make the driving gnome and his carriage pop. For the text elements, I printed two separate sentiments from the Gnome Men Greeting Digi stamps set. The first sentiment anchors the card front right below our driving gnome, while the second is a hidden gem tucked safely away for the inside of the flap.

For the background and landscape, I mixed and matched a couple of beautiful digital paper collections to create texture and depth. I printed a soft, textured blue paper from the Spring to Easter paper pad for a gorgeous sky, and used a vibrant green from the Bee Busy Flower and Plains paper pad to construct my grassy hills. I die-cut a little hill border to act as the interactive front flap, placing the gnome so he partially hangs off the top edge for extra dimension. Finally, I added a similar matching hill border on the inside directly behind the flap to beautifully frame and anchor the second hidden sentiment.
